Welcome to my blog... I'm going to post some pictures of the things I've been making and record the progress of my venture into the world of crafty commerce.
I've been focusing on making jewellery from recyled beads and these are for sale on a fantastic little stall in Afflecks Palace in Manchester. As well as using recycled materials I make some of my own beads and love nothing more than shopping for new beads. I am also co-producing a recipe book and love baking so have included my baking adventures too.

Third Hand Jewellery

I'm selling these pieces on the 'clothing with a conscience' stall in Afflecks Palace in Manchester. I love the ethics of the lady who runs the stall. In response to these ethics I have been focusing on making 'third hand' jewellery from ugly things from charity shops. Ideal isn't it?

    I LOVE the stuff you make!! I wish I had more old jewelry to take apart so I could use more recycled beads as well, I love using and wearing stuff that has had a life. I miss all the charity shops in Carlisle!

    I'm thinking of going on a special trip to carlisle just to go round ALL the charity shops. It would take all day.. but what a day that would be!

    I put a picture up of the pre recycled jewellery but i'm going to have to document the individual items as they are often so disgusting they need to be celebrated before they are reinvented
