Welcome to my blog... I'm going to post some pictures of the things I've been making and record the progress of my venture into the world of crafty commerce.
I've been focusing on making jewellery from recyled beads and these are for sale on a fantastic little stall in Afflecks Palace in Manchester. As well as using recycled materials I make some of my own beads and love nothing more than shopping for new beads. I am also co-producing a recipe book and love baking so have included my baking adventures too.
Yay for folsky shop! I want to start some sort of new shop on the internets but I don't know where? Etsy, Folksy, Dawanda.. I can't decide. What made you settle for Folksy?
ReplyDeleteOh and what a nice photo of you crafting, I bet the photographer is a really cool and awesome person ;)
The photographer is super ace.. how did you know? I thought you had an etsy shop? I went for folksy because its more UK based and there is so much awesome stuff on etsy I thought I would start on a smaller website. Folksy is nice its not running terribly smooth I think becuase its quite new. More crafts more crafts!!
ReplyDeleteI do have an etsy shop, but it's been closed since I moved from Berlin, it says I'm on vacation haha.
ReplyDeleteI should re-open it but started thinking I need a new name for it? What do you think?
I'm very busy doing a website for my dad, a painting for a lady and the shampoo project so I want to get some of it done before I open the shop again.
I've made lots of new stuff though, and the fact that you've started making stuff as well is totally inspiring!!
ey thats really cool, is that the same shampoo project from a while back? I bet you'll be glad when thats done. I've been featured on my friends blog which is super cool! I'm still waiting for my first online sale but will be taking my stuff into Afflecks next week. I've finally got the stuff I need to make the labels and now I have a blog and a shop I can put the addresses on the labels.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad its inspiring you because it was your master class on my visit to Craftland that got me into all this beady business. much lovex
